These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mexbui (the "Service"), operated as a software-as-a-service tool that converts a deployed web application URL into a signed Android application package (APK) or Android App Bundle (AAB) using an automated cloud build pipeline built on Capacitor and GitHub Actions. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Mexbui Does
Mexbui is a build automation tool. You provide a URL to a web application you own or are authorized to package, configure settings such as app name, package identifier, version, icon, and orientation, and the Service runs an automated pipeline that wraps your web app in a native Android shell and produces build artifacts (APK and/or AAB files) that you can download and distribute yourself.
Mexbui does not host, review, moderate, or take ownership of the content of any web application submitted to it, and does not publish anything to Google Play or any other store on your behalf unless you explicitly perform that step yourself.
2. Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- The web application you submit, including its content, functionality, and any data it collects, stores, or transmits;
- Ensuring you own or hold sufficient rights, licenses, and permissions to package and distribute that web application as a native Android app;
- The Android permissions your app requests and how it uses them;
- Compliance with all applicable laws, including data protection, consumer protection, and intellectual property law;
- Compliance with Google Play's Developer Program Policies, Developer Distribution Agreement, and any other store or platform requirements if you choose to publish the generated artifacts; and
- Securing your Mexbui account credentials, signing keys, and any secrets you upload or generate through the Service.
Mexbui is not responsible for app rejections, suspensions, takedowns, or policy violations arising from apps built using the Service.
3. Accounts and Billing
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis as described at checkout. You can view and manage your subscription from your account settings. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on cancelling and how billing periods work.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Mexbui to build applications that are illegal, malicious, infringing, or otherwise prohibited. Full details are set out in our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the web application and content you submit. Mexbui retains all rights to the platform, build pipeline, tooling, and any Mexbui branding. Using the Service does not transfer ownership of your app to Mexbui, and does not transfer ownership of our platform to you.
6. Service Availability
We work to keep the Service reliable, but Mexbui is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a specific build success rate, or that any particular build will complete without error. Cloud build infrastructure (including third-party providers such as GitHub Actions) may experience downtime or delays outside our control.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Mexbui is a technical tool, not a publishing, legal, or compliance service. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mexbui and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue, lost data, or app store account actions, arising from your use of the Service. See our Disclaimer for further detail.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law and Legal Review
This document is a general template provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. It may not address every requirement applicable to your business or jurisdiction. We recommend you have this document reviewed by your own legal counsel before relying on it for your organization.
